Statement of Need

“Pain can be one of the most difficult medical symptoms to treat, and when it becomes chronic, treatment can be complicated and complex.  Despite far-reaching advances in the field of pain management, many frontline practitioners have not learned the new information required to more effectively manage the pain experienced by their patients.  Learning new information about the pathophysiology of pain, how to work up patients with a chronic pain problem, and how to protect your practice when prescribing opioid analgesics is critical in today’s medical environment.”
